Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Day-to-day duties: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
