UPVC welding machine operator — Johnson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Johnson County, Illinois. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals What we are looking for: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
