Immediate opening: cnc setter-operator (Wales)

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Torfaen County Borough, Wales. Day to day you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls 3+ years on the tools preferred.
