Immediate opening: pipe tig welder (Ebonyi State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Ebonyi, Ebonyi State. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Your main tasks: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required 2+ years on the tools preferred.
