Fusing press operator wanted in Smith County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Smith County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Six days a week, one day off.
