Ironing operator — Jefferson County

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing.
