Great opportunity: blocklayer (Missouri)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Audrain County, Missouri. You will be based on a busy housing site. Day to day you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
