Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Calhoun County, Florida. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day-to-day duties: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift $8,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
