Lathe programmer-operator • Searcy County, Arkansas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Searcy County, Arkansas. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Meals and transport allowance provided.
