Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction helper in Kunchi, Kano State. The job is with a civil contractor. Requirements: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times On the job you will handle: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days 4+ years on the tools preferred. ₦550 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
