Vacancy available: we are hiring a plastering hand in Gilpin County, Colorado. You will work on a busy domestic building site. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets You will tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads.
