We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Lake County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish.
