Gantry crane operator wanted in Georgetown County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Georgetown County, South Carolina. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
