Core maker wanted in Morgan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Morgan County, Kentucky. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. You will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling 1+ years on the tools preferred.
