Shuttering carpenter — Real County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Real County, Texas. Day to day you will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
