Thermal insulation technician — Rowan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Rowan County, North Carolina. You will be based on a high-rise façade. Requirements: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Willing to travel between sites The role involves prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant.
