Heavy equipment operator — Chowan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Chowan County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
