Elevator repair technician — Delta County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Delta County, Michigan. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Your main tasks: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs 4+ years on the tools preferred.
