Rigger — Onslow County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Onslow County, North Carolina. You will work at a shipyard. The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
