Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Clay County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
