Building site helper — Magoffin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a building site helper in Magoffin County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
