Blocklayer wanted in Green Lake County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Green Lake County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a commercial construction site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Rotating shifts. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
