Wheel loader operator — Rawlins County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Rawlins County, Kansas. The job is at a road-building project. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Check for underground cables and services before digging Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Full-time, day shift.
