Plumbing technician — Chautauqua County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plumbing technician in Chautauqua County, New York. The job is at a busy plumbing and sanitary firm. The role involves replace worn washers, seals and float valves; chase walls and floors for concealed pipework; trace and clear blockages in drains, traps and gully pits; install wash basins, sinks, WCs and flush cisterns; detect and fix leaks at joints and concealed pipework; lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall. Ideal candidate: • Able to read basic plumbing drawings and layouts • ITI certificate in plumbing or fitter trade where applicable • Own a basic set of plumbing hand tools Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
