Vacancy available: reinforcement fitter (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Fayette County, Texas. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day to day you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
