Brick mason — Arenac County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Arenac County, Michigan. You will be based on a busy housing site. On the job you will handle: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Overtime paid at a premium rate.
