Brickwork mason wanted in Pointe Coupee Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day You will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go.
