Panel welder — Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Franklin County, Iowa. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Day to day you will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
