Bar bender and fixer — Towns County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Towns County, Georgia. The role involves: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Full-time with occasional weekends. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
