Bricklayer — Terrell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Terrell County, Texas. The role involves: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
