Sand plant operator — Malumfashi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Malumfashi, Katsina State. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Six days a week, one day off.
