Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm The role involves set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); load and index turning tools in the turret; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. £1,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
