Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete worker in Washington County, Oregon. The role involves set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
