Immediate opening: turning centre operator (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Whiteside County, Illinois. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Full-time, day shift.
