Escalator technician — Lancashire

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Lancashire, England. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On a typical shift you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; run load and overload tests with test weights. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
