Glazing assistant — Solano County

Join our team: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Solano County, California. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Day-to-day duties: • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
