Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofer in Pike County, Kentucky. The job is at a roofing and cladding contractor. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) Day to day you will nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; insulate and ventilate the roof void; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
