Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Lewis County, Idaho. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day You will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
