Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread baker in Presidio County, Texas. You will be based at a cake shop. On a typical shift you will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Food handler / hygiene certificate Part-time with flexible hours.
