Now hiring: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Lee County, Illinois. You will work at an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain The role involves push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
