Brick and block layer wanted in Ugwunagbo

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Ugwunagbo, Abia State. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Overtime paid at a premium rate.
