Immediate opening: nursery worker (Ohio)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a nursery worker in Fayette County, Ohio. You will be based at a plant nursery. Day-to-day duties: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
