Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork erector in Muskogee County, Oklahoma. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Your main tasks: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
