Vacancy available: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Lowndes County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration.
