Render and set plasterer • Letcher County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Letcher County, Kentucky. You will be based in a refurbishment property. On the job you will handle: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Six days a week, one day off.
