Bricklayer — Ibarapa North

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Ibarapa North, Oyo State. The job is on a new-build development. Your main tasks: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
