Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Donga, Taraba State. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp 6+ years on the tools preferred.
