Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Part-time with flexible hours.
