Bricklayer — Barnsley

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Barnsley, England. You will be based on a commercial construction site. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On a typical shift you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish.
