Bricklayer — Kankia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Kankia, Katsina State. Day to day you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
